Psalm 27:4-5 One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple. For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock.
What a beautiful, comforting, safe place to be. When we seek Him with all our hearts, we can have the undeniable joy and peace of being in His Presence. Being in the shelter of His love is exactly where I want to be.
Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You that when I seek You, I find you. You bring me into Your temple and give me shelter from storms that will come my way. And while I am in Your temple, drawing close to you by being in Your Word and praying to You, I experience the beauty of Your Presence. I pray that I will always dwell in Your Presence all the days of my life. Amen.
