Malachi 3:1 I the LORD do not change.
I love the simplicity and Truth of this verse. Our world and lives are always changing, yet God does not change. He is the God of creation, the God of the here and now, and the God of our future. Very simply, He is our Rock; steadfast and solid. When our world is swirling around us, we can run to Him for stability and peace.
He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, Rahab, David, Isaiah, Peter, Paul, Martha, Mary, (go ahead, insert your own name here!)... and He is the God of people yet to be born! That thought just fills me with awe and peace. The same God Abraham prayed to is the same exact God I pray to. He's the same God you pray to... and He does not change.
John 1:1-2. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning."
ReplyDeleteAnd I believe that same God was watching over you a year ago. We are so thankful that all our prayers were answered. Truly amazing.
