Psalm 121 is one of my very favorite Psalms. Whenever I read it, I always feel peaceful and secure in the knowledge that God watches over us. Always. I simply want to share it with you today. Enjoy His perfect Word!
Psalm 121
I lift up my eyes to the hills --
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip --
he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD watches over you --
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
The LORD will keep you from all harm --
he will watch over your life;
the LORD will watch over your coming and going,
both now and forevermore.
Dear Heavenly Father, I praise You for Your everlasting love. I am humbled to know that You, the Maker of heaven and earth, care so deeply for me that You watch over me. Always. Thank You for the comfort of Your presence and Your perfect Word. Amen.
This is one of my favorite Psalms as well. I remember learning this in Sunday school and hearing it in church.
